FUNdamentals Around the Country

The staff at Living Light brings our FUNdamentals of Raw Living Foods class to you! Come share the fun of raw food while you discover the magic of creating delicious raw living foods for optimum health and rejuvenation. Instructors have been certified by master raw vegan chef Cherie Soria to teach FUNdamentals of Raw Living Foods in your area. This workshop will open a door for you to a whole new world of fabulous cuisine from appetizers to desserts-all uncooked. The instructors are Jenny Cornbleet and Martine Lussier. You'll eat these wonderful foods plus learn basic to gourmet live food preparation and how to plan menus that go together in a flash.

Length of Class

One-day basic course.

 

Pre-Requisites

All levels of expertise from novice to professional are welcome. There are no prerequisite for this course. This is a prerequisite for Essentials of Raw Culinary Arts and Raw Culinary Arts Associate Chef and Instructor Training.

 

What You Will Learn

  • Soaking, sprouting, and basic kitchen gardening
  • Making rejuvelac, veggie krauts, and other fermented foods
  • Making nut milks, creams, and luscious raw non-dairy cheeses
  • Introduction to the basic equipment and supplies used in a raw food kitchen food processors, juicers, dehydrators, and the use of other important culinary equipment
  • Introduction to basic knife skills
  • Basic fruit smoothies and soups, sauces, salad dressings, salads, simple entrees, wraps and rolls, patés, and easy desserts

This class is observation only. No hands-on workshops.
