This exciting 2-day intensive course is presented by Dr. Douglas Graham, DC, world-class athletic trainer, author and lecturer. Dr, Graham is an incredibly compelling speaker who offers a wealth of knowledge and up-to-date information on the science of raw nutrition.
Subjects covered will include the anatomical, physiological, bio-chemical and psychological analysis of the benefits of the raw vegan diet with an emphasis on Natural Hygiene.
A complete analysis and explanation of the role of carbohydrates, fiber, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals in the diet will be included as well as an explanation of acid/alkaline balance, how vitamins are absorbed into the body, the role of protein in the diet and the best sources of bio-available proteins, the importance of correct fats in the diet and the basic functions and roles of lipids, blood sugar issues, an explanation of minerals in the body including sodium/potassium balance, macro and micro minerals and trace elements, the basic uses of water in the body and the best sources of water, as well as a personal lifestyle evaluation including defining healthy body composition and percentage of body fat.
