As an educator, Barry helps to evoke creativity in his staff, and encourages them to add to the restaurant’s menu. He was once told by a culinary instructor “Never trust a skinny chef.” but this has proven to be false. Barry feels that the instructor should have used “always trust a healthy chef.” He believes that a vegetarian diet is the key to mental, emotional, and physical healing.
