She has written numerous articles on the subject, including the column Beyond Body, Mind, and Spirit for the In Defense of Animals e-newsletter. She is co-founder of the Mendocino County animal advocacy organization CARE: Compassion for Animals, Respect for the Earth.
A harpist, composer, and author, Joel has been a pioneer in the healing power of music. He has presented concerts and workshops both throughout the United States, and in eleven countries worldwide. He has recorded over 3,000 healing sessions for individual transformation, and his music and writing are used to support many modalities of therapy. He beautifully presents the ability of sound as a medium for facilitating changes in consciousness.
Amy Bacheller, M.Ed, NC, CMT., has almost 20 years of experience in alternative health modalities which make up her Scent From Heaven holistic healing practice. Amy is certified in aromatherapy, nutritional counseling, guided imagery, bodywork, energetic healing and raw foods. She is certified as an associate raw food chef/instructor from Living Light.
Kari Bernardi-Ibsen, is a Living Light Faculty Guest Chef and Instructor. She is also a professional fun seeker, fabulous chef, great friend and master teacher. Kari was the founding Director of the non-profit Monterey County Farm to School Partnership and has spent many years in California writing healthy school food policies and teaching farm fresh nutrition education to kids. Chef Kari is presently launching the "Yummy Tummy Food Company" where she will be focusing her talents on Guiding the Youth, Catering, Consultations, Private Instruction and Life Transformations.

Michael is founder and developer of E3Live. His wife Tamera is the formulator of some of the top-selling green formulas on the market today. Michael has been a lecturer on health and living foods for many years. Matt and Terces Englehart
Matthew and Terces Engelhart promised each other to live their lives together following and trusting intuition. An initial guidance to create a board game resulted in the Abounding River Game. Once the game was complete, Matthew and Terces agreed that it would be wonderful to offer a place where people could gather, eat, and play the game. Terces read a book about live foods and was so inspired she asked Matthew to eat raw' for 30 days. This inspired them to create the first Café Gratitude in San Francisco.
In the past five years, The Engelharts and the Café Gratitude Community have opened six Café Gratitude restaurants, and they are currently planning the opening of Gracias Madre, their new organic, vegan Mexican restaurant in San Francisco's Mission District, slated to open in Fall 2009. Matthew and Terces lead monthly workshops offering guidance in the tools and practices on which Cafe Gratitude is based. Andrea "Andi" Griffith
Andrea has been preparing raw food cuisine and teaching raw food preparation for 5 years. She received her Living Light Associate Chef and Instructor™ certification in 2008. Heather Haxo Phillips
Heather Haxo Phillips is an accomplished raw food chef who teaches classes throughout the Bay Area. She primarily teaches through Whole Foods Market and Café Gratitude. Heather is a certified raw food chef/instructor and graduate of the prestigious Living Light Culinary Arts Institute. Prior to teaching raw foods, she has had years of experience in the food industry, including catering and kitchen prep.
Barbara is a certified fitness trainer and a certified raw food nutrition educator. She received her raw food education at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute from Rick and Karin Dina, and her fitness certification through International Sports Sciences Assocation (ISSA). Barbara's intention is to educate others about the importance of fitness and nutrition in their lives. Deborah Koons Garcia is an award-winning filmmaker based in Marin County, California. Viktoras Kulvinskas, a pioneer live food educator and Essene minister, has been called “The Father of Living Foods." Thomas Lodi, M.D.
Thomas Lodi, M.D., a master’s level psychologist received his medical degree in 1985 from the University of Hawaii. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Columbia University and worked for ten years as an internist, urgent care physician, and intensivist (ICU/CCU). After several years of additional training in alternative modalities, he narrowed his focus to integrative oncology. She is co-chair of the Northcoast Nutrition and Fitness Collaborative (NNFC), advocates of the Rethink Your Drink Campaign, promoting water as a healthy alternative to sugar-based drinks. Cherie Soria is the founder and director of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, and has been teaching the art of gourmet raw living foods for over 15 years, and vegetarian culinary arts for more than 35 years. Since the age of 18 Jeff has been reading Krishnamuti’s talks and practicing “active meditation.” He finds that mindfulness in the kitchen is a key to personal growth. Award winning author Angela Stokes lost an amazing 160 lbs with a raw lifestyle, reversing morbid obesity. A classically trained chef, Vinnette earned her culinary arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America and is also a graduate of the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, where she now teaches a variety of classes. Vinnette has two culinary passions, vegetarian cuisine and culinary education. A chef for over 25 years, she is currently Executive Chef of the Raw Food Underground and teaches culinary arts for the Palm Beach school district in Florida.
Dr. Will Tuttle
Pianist, composer, educator, and author, Will Tuttle has performed and lectured widely throughout North America and Europe. Author of the acclaimed book The World Peace Diet, he is a recipient of the Peace Abbey’s Courage of Conscience Award, a columnist for VegNews Magazine, and the co-founder of Circle of Compassion ministry. His Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, focused on educating intuition and altruism in adults, and he has taught college courses in creativity, humanities, mythology, religion, and philosophy. Don Weaver has been a 100% raw-foodist for over 32 years and is considered by many to be the world's foremost advocate of soil remineralization.
